Review Cafepod - featuring an offer for KneadWhine readers

Yum

I've been really enjoying the step up to Nespresso.  No more flavoured syrup, just a few drops of single cream and I'm happy.

I've delved in to quite a few different types of pods and I'm beginning to form some favourites.

I had a bit of a whinge on Twitter about one of the packs I'd had.  The Cafepod pods were ridiculously wasteful.  Packed in individual little bags - a bit of a bugbear of mine at the moment. I know that the pods aren't that eco friendly in the first place.  Putting them all into individual sachets just seemed a bit ridiculous.  On the left is their old packaging - double the size of the new sleeker version.

... and then CafePod sent me some of their pods to look at.  They've had a brand refresh and a change in packaging design and they look so much better.  It's a bit more of a journey to get into the pods but I quite like it - you firstly rip off the tab.

Then you slide up the inner box.

Remove the inner tab and there they are.

No individual wrapping.  There's that pesky wrapping from before to demonstrate my meaning.

They are bright and vibrant and I'm really rather fond of the Sumatra.  Less of the SuperCharger but I can't quite bring myself to go to the espresso level.

The most exciting thing is that you don't need to rely on my review in order to get a taste for whether or not you want some.  If you do, head over to CafePod, fill up your basket and enter 'KneadWhine20' at the payment stage in order to receive a 20% discount.

You really should.

How do you take your coffee?

CafePod sent me some pods to try but there was no obligation to review and all words and opinions are my own.
